Inspection and Testing
First, the area must be tested to determine the right system for your flooring. We perform Calcium Chloride or Relative Humidity testing to determine the moisture content or contamination. Other tests are performed based on the condition of the slap, use of space, age of the building and more.
Substrate Preparation
Paragraph: Based on what was found on these tests, the area will be properly prepared using media blasting, diamond grinding, jack hammers and chipping funs. Degreasing may also be necessary if slabs are contaminated with oils to achieve proper adhesion.
Application
Installation depends on the specific system. Our common installation procedures vary from screeding and troweling the material, squeegeeing and rolling the material and broadcasting the material. Additional details like waterproofing, cove base, penetrations and drains are discussed prior to installation.
